Oh, I don't think the "old" Zack was totally without hope for his future - unless the aggressive optimism was some kind of coping mechanism. I'm not very good with those.

Lord, what did he find out? Is it going to be another shocking revelation that will get me to totally rethink his mindset? The last one was... much.

Angel and Rhys are well. We're planning to reunite and feast tonight, so pancakes will likely be involved. I am going to eat my own weight in them and no one in this godforsaken hell town can stop me.
