I've known my share of the sort. Sometimes it's almost enough to convince you that there is some greater plan at play after all.

Yeah...that's how things back home were. It seemed pretty cut and paste but then it turned out that the entire fight we were involved in was actually a war that had been going on for a really long time.

No, it's alright. It's not exactly something that most people would believe. And a lot of people back home don't even really know what's going on.

[Like his mom. His friends back home. Hell, even people that knew about it all forgot for awhile.]

I'm not really sure. I wasn't a chosen keyblade wielder. The honor wasn't passed down to me by any former wielder. It was suppose to be Riku but..the darkness got him first. And I knew I had to save him and Kairi. I think that's what made the keyblade pick me in the end.

No - I can't imagine trying to tell them. All normal humans, I assume?

So you were chosen. For your courageous altruism, of course, despite apparently not having other qualifications... I don't know what's more bizarre, that these kind of thing happens so often, or that against all reason they tend to work out.

For the most part, yeah.

[It's a struggle, that's for sure. And then of course there's the whole "Everyone forgot who he was for a good chunk of time" thing which made it even more difficult.]

I..guess. I've never really thought about it like that. I just knew I needed to save my friends and the keyblade was there, I think. I'm not really sure how to explain it.
