I'm glad.

[He types out that brief, not that incriminating response - Brian should already know he's glad to see him alive, shouldn't he? - and then there is a considerable pause as he grapples with this new bit of information. So that is the Operator. He's never seen anything like it in his long existence.

He should say as much to Brian, but finds that he struggles to. Especially after what Tim had said - might have said, he doesn't know how much of it was any more real than what he'd seen happen to Brian. But what was said, nonetheless...
